As the deadline lapsed, Reuters journalists in Khan Younis in southern Gaza saw eastern areas come under intensive bombardment, sending columns of smoke rising into the sky. Residents took to the road with belongings heaped up in carts, fleeing for shelter further west.
In the north of the enclave, previously the main war zone, huge plumes of smoke rose above the ruins, seen from across the fence in Israel. The rattle of gunfire and thud of explosions rang out above the sound of barking dogs.
Rocket sirens also blared across southern Israel as militants fired from the coastal enclave into towns.
Within hours of the truce expiring, Gaza health officials reported that 54 people had already been killed and dozens wounded in air strikes that hit at least eight homes.
It’s possible it was hamas, it’s also possible it was just some randoms. Equally possible it was mosad.
But regardless of who it was. It was definitely Israel making more unforced errors.
I don’t think it’s equally likely to have been a false flag, actually.
It is amusing though how openly you admit that, regardless of any facts at all, you’re still going to blame Israel. You’ll be more convincing if you at least pretend to not have a fixed position.
Gee, I said it could have been Hamas or any other number of groups. Yet you call me the one with a fixed position. Only blaming Israel. Project much?
It’s bad form to accuse others of lacking the facts. When your accusations themselves are off outside of the known facts.
You said it was equally possible that it was an Israeli false flag as it being Hamas, which is completely divorced from any analysis of the facts or history at all.
Or you think that three possibilities implies a 33.3% chance of each one being true, but I assume you have a better understanding of statistics than a child.
I’m not saying who it was. You’re the one who’s here to defend the bully regardless. Regardless of the facts. Which neither of us have.
Cheers.
Hamas has broken every ceasefire and truce ever penned, so yeah it was most assuredly Hamas.
So has Israel. I’m not defending either one.
Israel did not break this ceasefire, so no
They’ve broken plenty. They’re still seizing land in the West Bank even as they slaughter Gazan citizens. You act surprised when people hear you say won’t anyone think about the poor bully. And doesn’t take your side.

Here’s the history of ceasefires. Israel broke one.
