I love lemurs because they’re funny, silly, cute, and endlessly diverse - there’s over 100 kinds! I’ve also always had a soft spot for them because they’re kind of like monkeys, but weird. As a neurodiverse human, I’m like a human (a type of monkey)… but weird.

What about you? What’s your favorite, and why?

No apology for picking cats. The internet’s highest calling is the display of cat pictures. Manuls are pretty awesome, but I have a soft spot for recently rescued street kittens.

I think bumblebees are insanely cute, I always wanted to be small enough to have a pet bumblebee that I could climb onto and fly about on its back while it does bee-stuff.

So long as you are gentle, you can usually pet bumblebees. They are typically not at all aggressive.

Nothing really comes to mind but I had to pick - I would pick cats

I more of a dog person than anything but cats have a personality, to fault yes, but it’s kind of endearing.

I absolutely love seagulls, obnoxious little shits as they are. I love watching their interactions, the pecking orders and food squabbles. Watching a whole flock fight over a stray piece of trash, where one by one each bird fights the crowd to grab it only to realize it isn’t food and drop it into the next fight, is peak humor for me.

Seagulls are so charming. They’re actually really good parents, too! They share childcare equally between both parents, including sitting on the eggs during incubation, and are very protective of their babies.

I love river otters because of how playful they are. They always seem to be having a good time in life. It’s not just survival, play is important too.
