Apple TV Plus has confirmed that season 2 of the sci-fi series Invasion will premiere on August 23rd. The new season, consisting of 10 episodes, will continue the story of a planet-wide alien invasion from multiple perspectives.

Season 1, which premiered in October 2021, started slowly but eventually became a compelling sci-fi tale. The upcoming season aims to go bigger, with a global battle and a focus on the power of the human spirit and emotional connections.

Early images of season 2 reveal a spacesuit and a war-torn version of Earth. New episodes will be released on Wednesdays.

    It’s been so long I had to review what it was about again. I think I enjoyed it, although I do seem to recall some eye rolling at dumb decisions as well.
