I am looking to upgrade the cpu’s on my Dell precision T7810. Both of them prices same in Aliexpress. $16. Budget max $20usd per cpu.

I am leaning towards 2680v4 due to less power TDP of 120W vs 145W. Would like to know the opinion from the community. I will be mostly using this machine as proxmox VM and TruNAS with 2x 6TB drives.

I am also a bit confused if my DDR4 2133 memory will work with this v4 cpu since it says 2400mhz for this cpu. Can it work with 2133mhz memory?

      Yep, was surprised to see that 2x2680v4 is lower power consumption than the previous 2x2630v3 that I had, despite nearly doubled the cores.
