I just got two K10s from my girlfriend’s uncle, and I’m looking to do something with em! I have been gunning to make a homelab for a while now and don’t really know where to start. I’ve been browsing LabGopher for a server but I’m worried about picking something that will underperform, but also want something relatively cheap. Really trying to build out my IT resume with some of the basics: Linux servers, AD Directory, etc. But I’m also interested in using the K10s for maybe cloud gaming or AI media generation. Just spit balling in really not sure what to start with. Any suggestions?

    These are over 10 years old and are not really useful for anything, they are passively cooled. All this is quite easy info from google…

    So useless unless you really want to get your hands dirty on VDI but it seems a bit out of your league at this point in time. that’s why the cost like $40 on eBay.

    the only good news is that they do not require a license to do vGPU / vVDI
