    What this recent disruption has shown, if anything, is that they were destined to be cogs too. Even if that’s not what any of them signed up for.

    A good take and I believe that’s definitely why a lot of users are upset. Reddit’s staff does not create the content that people flock to reddit for, but they do profit off of it.
