The biggest joke, is America’s whole existence was predicated on a democracy, and escaping the clutches of the monarchy and dictatorial monarchs. Yet fast forward 247 years, and they are falling over themselves to entrench a monarch at best, or more likely a dictator, depending on how you look at it. It would be fucking hilarious, if it wasn’t so sad.
