More proof that the lower mainland has this absurd dichotomy of “we need more housing” clashing with “but not in my neighbourhood.” Vancouver itself is almost entirely single-family housing, in a place where people are squeezing into units that are too small for their needs, such as multiple single people living in a single-bedroom or bachelor apartment just to get by.
