What is it about Reddit that makes it such a juggernaut, even corporations pay attention to outrage on Reddit, and alternatives like Lemmy are whole irrelevent or pointless?

I’m refuse to say that Lemmy is wonderful or excellent, and I refuse to say that Reddit sucks.
