MEC Toronto Workers vote overwhelmingly to join union – UFCW 1006A - UFCW Canada - Canada’s Private Sector Union

– Workers at Mountain Equipment Company Toronto location voted yesterday to join UFCW Local 1006A. This story will be the third unionized location in Canada after locations in Vancouver and Victoria joined UFCW 1518.

MEC is bleeding quality, and with that also reputation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the new owner just shut down that store. :(
