You keep pretending your friends death was some freak acciden

    It was.

no reason to be moving at fatal speeds

5 MPH is a fatal speed if you fall wrong. Any speed above pizza on bunny hill can be fatal. How are you too daft to understand that?

    That’s not normal skiing

Still doesn’t account for the over 100 people a year who die from actually normal skiing.

no reason to get wrapped around a tree

There are other ways to die skiing.

    God, you’re blind.

No one is dying from falling down on a groomed trail at 5 mph.

You are too dumb for your own good.

I’ve hit sudden ice on groomed trails and fell and hit my head, one can definitely die from that.

One can die slipping in their tub while taking a shower.

If you can’t see the difference between that and taking unnecessary risks then it’s obvious you are too dumb for your own good.

It’s quite clear your friend wasn’t skiing on standard groomed trails, just admit it already.

They were skiing on groomed trails, with their parents who were making sure they stayed on groomed trails. Groomed trails still have trees around them.

It’s quite clear you don’t understand even the most basic of skihills or physics.

And you still haven’t explained the well over 100 deaths and 100,000 injuries that result from normal, not reckless skiing each year. Please, explain why those numbers are so high, even though you say no one could ever get injured or die skiing normal trails?

You want me to explain some statistic you’re pulling out of your ass? Wow you really got me there chief.

Explain how someone misses a turn and speeds off a cliff out of control into a tree if they are skiing on a groomed trail without doing something wrong? Your bullshit story doesn’t add up.

When did I say cliff? I said the snow built up near the trees creating a pit that could be fallen into. They missed a turn and fell into said pit.

Do you honestly not know of treeside pits in snow? They are very common, and actually quite dangerous.

And a simple web search will turn up those statistics for you.

Again how do you miss a turn on a groomed trail?

Sounds like you just don’t want to admit she was on a hill she couldn’t handle or was going too fast due to inexperience.

                    Lose control.

Also if someone inexperienced tries to play basketball too fast or hard the chances of death are virtually zero.

                    Not the case for skiing.

Skiing is not as safe as you claim.

I don’t know why you won’t stop. Hundreds of people die each year, more than just about any other sport.
