Most of BC is powered via hydro so we don’t really rely on oil for that part. The car party is huge though, we need to start pushing for more transit infrastructure. Hopefully the legislation changes coming in fall will tackle this somewhat.
I live on the island right beside the e&n rail yet I have to drive 50 minutes to my work everyday, where the building is a 4 minute walk from the e&n rail.
