    the game industry can really learn from the film industry. For instance, blumhouse productions mostly mastered the process of funding projects that won’t break the bank in production, but will almost certainly turn a good profit after release. They know that most people don’t crave extravagant set-pieces and crazy CGI, they just want a good time to possibly share with friends.

    As profitable as the games industry is, they are still far less mature than other industries in the media, and still have a lot of catching up to do in terms connecting with players.
