sigh
Reported by insider DanielRPK, via the Twitter account ScreenTime, the Bloodborne movie was said to still be in development, as the production is currently trying to find a director to helm the project. The adaptation was said to be in the works back in 2023, and one director is on every fan’s lips to make the IP his own. Guillermo del Toro is the fan-favorite director to take the reins, as the creative has a very distinct gothic style in all his fantasy works.
Bloodborne isn’t the only soulslike IP that’s being turned into a movie, as FromSoftware’s other behemoth, Elden Ring, will also be shown the silver-screen treatment. The adaptation is confirmed to be helmed by 28 Years Later writer and this year’s Warfare director Alex Garland, who has been playing through the action RPG several times in preparation and seems to have boss battling down to a tee. Elden Ring writer and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin recently gave his blessing to the movie adaptation and Garland’s involvement, and fans of the writer know how candid he can be.
Bloodborne will get a 24fps downgrade before getting a 60fps patch, mark my words
Sadly I think you’re right
