Facilities in Mississippi and Texas are holding the most detainees among the tens of thousands who’ve been rounded up across the nation during the ongoing crackdown on illegal immigration, according to newly released federal data.

Overall, ICE was holding 41,169 in detention at the various locations. Nearly 55% of those have no criminal record, and many more have committed only minor offenses such as traffic violations, TRAC found.

      Pfft…

Our embarrassment of an attempt at governor in Texas has been loud proud and slavering in his willingness to provide land, people, facilities (existing and not yet), help with border wall building (financial and physical), and any/every other resource he can think of to further the immigration related efforts of the current occupant of the oval office.

Mississippi ain’t got nuthin’ on Abbott.

      🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️

Texas makes sense though. You’ve got a land border with a foreign nation, a huge economy, and a huge population. Mississippi has none of those things.

They’ve got two working legs, I bet. Abbott can’t say that he does.
