          You know what’s weird? When writing I knew something was off. I am convinced I wouldn’t have made this mistake 5 years ago. I definitely know the difference between “to cease” and “to seize” and in this context “to cease” is the obvious choice. It’s like I know it’s wrong, I think about it and the actual correct verb just doesn’t come to mind and I leave it as is.

          Fluent in English, the last years I found words not coming to mind happens more often. I have wondered many times if this is a result of multiple covid infections I had. There are stories that hint in that direction, but no real scientific evidence I believe. Anyhow, it’s pretty frustrating.
