What I like the most is the music recognition button, because its really quick and convenient, and it also works for content playing on your phone, as long as you use the phone’s speakers. I think it doesnt use the media volume but rather the microphones only, but having the phone’s volume enabled it probably feeds back into the microphones and it works this way.

Oh ok I get it now, so basically the fixed phone is used as a controller for your regular phone. That makes more sense actually, I tought when reading your post that is was some kind of phone that stays in a cabinet near by. But if its basically a bluetooth speaker/microphone that you can decide to use to pick up the phone instead of using your smartphone, then I love the idea!!

Gnome is my choice because it doesn’t look and feel like it was designed in 2015. I also much prefer the workflow with the touchpad gestures. I used to have extensions but since I reset my PC and didn’t install any apart from the one that shows my cpu temperature in the top bar.

Pro tip, cut your onion in a well ventilated space. Like for example crack a window over the counter that you are cutting on, it will greatly reduce the effect, and it doesn’t even need to be wide open

As a CEO id be stupid to get a salary. Dividends and stocks are much better tax-wise. Well maybe id get a smaller salary for the advantages in retirement and tax-free accounts and everything, but not much more than whats needed.

I don’t know how to word it, but what I really hate about mastodon is that the cancel culture is like 10x every other platform. As soon as you have a slight disagreement on something it’s because you’re a homophobe and a racist and an ableist and you hate autistic people and whatnot. If the word woke wasn’t so used by trump to mean not being a fascist, it would be reserved for this kind of people. Yep 100%. On my Zenfone 8 at first I blocked the battery to 80% and quickly I found the battery got very short. All I had to do to fix the issue was a full battery cycle (100-0-100). What I noticed doing this is that it lasted for an absurd amount of time at 1% which indicates me that it was decalibrated. After the procedure the battery life was more at normal levels again

In GTK/GNOME apps this is remedied by scrolling your mouse wheel over the scrolling indicator (the small side bar that shows up while scrolling). It makes the scrolling much faster this way, but I agree it’s not ideal and the windows behaviour is better UX wise

The problem is this only works in areas where the homeless aren’t a majority of drug addicts. In North America this is infeasable they will piss and leave syringes everywhere. This just creates avoidable work for the people cleaning out this stuff.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I already feel better after sleeping. Not sure why I was in this weird spiral last night. I hope it doesn’t happen again, that wasn’t fun. For staying myself, it’s actually the biggest reason I want to get in the new friend group. They just don’t really judge people and will accept me for who I am. This is compared to the trump people who I had to change some things to kind of fit in.

For the gaming part, I think the big part of my issue is I don’t outside enough. I need to see real actual people to feel like I did something with my day. During the winter I go more at the office for work and that already helps massively. Playing multiplayer games is something I enjoy, but I want to try to limit as much as I can because of that: it’s the lazy option for me.
