    I can’t speak to the content of these specific books, but Packt isn’t always the highest quality. They aren’t as reliable as publishers like O’Reilly, No Starch, or Manning. Humble Bundle is the way to go if you want to try them out though.

    I have not used these specific books, but my previous experience with Packt has been hit and miss with majority being more towards the miss. Some bad practices I had to unlearn, poor writing and overall not a super enjoyable experience to work through. I usually jump on the O’Reilly published books as well as the Manning books. If it is a Packt bundle, I usually just try and find the same topic on a free youtube video or I just read the documentation directly.

    Honestly I’d check out the latest react dev docs and follow some of beginner friendly blogs online. RSC is going to get closer to complete by end of year and these books will be out o date for the larger paradigm shift coming.
