      Leave aside this specific instance.

      Keeper did not win the ball and stopped the player from getting to the ball. Jumping to avoid contact shouldn’t mean it was not a foul in the box.

      It’s funny that people are still saying this when we literally had a non-contact penalty given against us.

      He has to jump out of the way to avoid the keeper which impedes his natural trajectory towards the ball? It’s a reckless challenge by the keeper regardless of if he made contact.

      I do wonder what the actual wording on instances like this is, you’re right that no contact was made - but Rashford had to jump to avoid contact, if he hadnt had to jump over the GK, he would’ve still been in control of the ball and would’ve had a potential goal scoring opportunity.

    He doesn’t make contact but no one can argue he didn’t impede Rashford there…
