    Not really arguing that it’s a penalty but the referee saw it hit his hand initially so how is it a clear and obvious error?

    They just make the VAR rules up as they go!

    Anyone who says it’s not a penalty has never played the game. What the hell is Neville going on about? Yes there’s nothing the defender can do to get his arms out of the way, but it’s still always a penalty. It has been since the beginning of time. He blocks a shot with his arm extended….

    If a goal for the opposition doesn’t count during the process of the review, what is even the benefit of letting the play continue. There is absolutely no logic here.
