I never really cared much about Threadripper, since I don’t really have a use case for them, but I would like to know what’s the general opinion about this release.

I have been awaiting this announcement eagerly for a long time. My main machine has a Threadripper 2950X, and finally, there will be a worthy upgrade path. I’m super excited!
What do you use your Threadripper for? I’m guessing some kind of productivity/ professional work?
Computer work mostly
Software development, large databases, VMs, and containers.
Cool. Maybe USCIS will allow us to update the scanning computers finally.
Any indication when it’s out? Faintly recalled it’s Nov 2023?
