He also blinked towards the camera and said:

Barcelona were never the best club in the world, they just had the best players. Barcelona has 30 years of history, Barcelona will never be the best club in the world. City will become the best club in the world faster than Barcelona makes the top 3. And if you still have any doubts, I’lI make it clear, Barcelona are shit, they’re the shit that everyone passes by, the shit that is left to cook under the sun and washed away by the rain. They’re the shit that doesn’t even smell Barcelona is shit and they’re still bad at it, in fact they re so bad at being shit that if it depended on them toilets would go extint.

Why people think things like that?

To stay fit ahead of international commitments like Beckham did in Milan. It’s a reasonable hypothesis. But Messi will be in the Argentina XI until he retires no matter where he plays so for him I imagine the pressure to do that is lower.

He will be watching the MLS playoffs eating chips like he did in the last 4 years in UCL. Just kidding. For those outside NA Lays (potato chips company) has a commercial during the UCL games and Messi is in the couch eating chips.

People don’t seem to understand that he just wants to chill. The guy didnt give 2 shits about club football since leaving barcelone and rightfully so. No player has earned it more than him, not even Cristiano. He still did his absolute best for the clubs he played for though.

let this dude retire in miami in peace. he’s been a professional his whole life. now he’s living the quiet life going grocery shopping, watching his kids play and himself playing games at a high school stadium to stay in shape for the national team.
