I think most of us are glad really, always felt that having a healthy base of players in other top European Leagues would improve us at International level.

Part of the problem with the ‘Golden Generation’ was that players would bring domestic rivalries into the international camp, imo having players willing to go abroad is a sign of dedication and professionalism (ignoring Sancho who seems to have a problem there).

Great strength and balance to keep the defender at bay and morlve to the shooting position. One of the best in the business.

    That’s it, that’s a slap to reality.

We have no world class players, it’s a miracle we won Euro 2020.

I see so many people say this but I just don’t see it. Apart from Austria and Spain we dominated every game that tournament and before the tournament we were on like a 30+ games streak of not losing. We were objectively a great team and despite not having the same quality anymore, especially in defence (mainly central defenders since we have some world class full backs in Di Lorenzo, Dimarco and Udogie) we’re still not that bad. We were the better team in the first half and 2/3 goals we conceded were because of individual mistakes (Di Lorenzo’s and Scalvini’s). People are way too dramatic imo
