I bought a Minolta Hi-Matic AF for my trip to Greece and boy did it pay off. The fixed 38mm 2.8 lens is super sharp and I got great results on Kodak Gold 200.
I really like this photo.
At a glance it’s a simple touristic type composition. But the lighting is acceptional. The people in the foreground are interesting. I keep looking at it. It’s just perfect.
I love the detail the grain captures. I took my Nikon z6ii as well but I love the film pictures more.
Good to see it’s still there
(great pic by the way)
Kodak Gold and warm sunlight is definitely one of my favorite things. Cool photo!
Side note: Anyone else feel like the photography community here should adopt title format rules ala /r/analog ? Would make searching easier as it grows.
The Parthenon has a nice golden glow to it. This is a great shot that you took.
That is one sharp image. Wish I still had my Minolta.
___Better yet, this is a half-res export to get the upload size down. When the focus hits (over 90% of the time), I have trouble deciding if my Nikon z6ii or this is sharper.
