Is the answer money? I bet it’s money.

Oil manufacturing is easy, and infrastructure is there already. Green energy is new territory and requires r&d. I’m not advocating for oil, but why would they ever change? They do OIL. That’s like asking a cow farmer why they aren’t selling vegetables.
