When these were first announced, almost every comment in this sub expressed some degree of disappoint and I can tell you all that you are mostly not wrong! But it gets interesting!

Here’s my feedback:

Made of 32% lycra, these are tighter more than they are stretchy. So, SIZE UP. Sizing up, I personally did not mind the fit or the waistband and I thought they fit pretty well.

My overall impression is that these leggings have a bit of an identity crisis. Although I think they are the best feeling and highest quality shiny leggings compared to brands such as koral, the old AA leggings and disco pants everyone was comparing them to, alo and carbon38, I’m not sure they’re really practical for workouts. They feel really luxurious and they’re certainly an eye catcher but rather than being worn for working out I could more easily see them worn as tights or leggings for “going out” like with boots or dresses.

These are meant to be running leggings but in that department I prefer the senseknit leggings which I never paid the $168 full price on but got either on WMTM or resale. Like the senseknit leggings, I’ll wait for these to hit WMTM and probably pick up some more but again probably not to wear to workout.
