    Specific heat treatment of the cathode prevented early battery failure, allowing for a much longer charge/discharge cycle count. Very interesting research.

    I look forward to where these go, because it seems like a much more environmentally friendly way to get high capacity grid storage, which means better renewables, which means a better planet for the future.

    Heck, if they develop these enough, we might end up with lower cost batteries for EVs, especially busses and larger vehicles like garbage trucks.
