Jadon Sancho has signed for Chelsea from Manchester United. Chelsea had until 1am to complete the transfer after submitting a deal sheet before the 11pm deadline. The England international joins on an initial loan with the west London club having an obligation to make the switch permanent next summer for a fee in the region of £20million to £25m depending on performance milestones. The 24-year-old will then be expected to sign a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge. The Athletic reported earlier on Friday that an agreement was expected to be reached to end his three-year stay in Manchester.
