Like Tetris, it’s simplicity is its major strength! I’ve played it countless hours. I’m fact, one I got my Spectrum Next it was the first game I played.

Fun story: back in the 80s, it was the only game my dad ever played on the Spectrum. Computers and games weren’t really his thing, but the appeal of Bomb Jack, and that you could play with three keys only, made it happen. Fond memories!

Loved this game back in the day.

I remember first playing the original arcade on a cross channel ferry to France as part of a school trip.

Still a great game that my kids can’t play as it’s too hard for them.
