    Since it arrived in South America, more than 500,000 seabirds have died of it, with penguins, pelicans and boobies among those most heavily affected.

    damn… fur seals also are susceptible…

      And so there’s a risk for humans, too, I guess. Not sure we can survive the next pandemic with at least 40% of population being conservative idiots everywhere in the world.
