Hair is hair, who gives a shit what pronouns the person who is paying you to cut it uses? Hope she loses her entire business over this hateful stance.

9&10 News reached out to the owner, Christine Geiger, who said she has no problem with the LGB part, it’s the TQ+ that she doesn’t support. Gieger said she is taking a stand against being forced to use preferred pronouns, such as: they/them, he/him and she/her.

Wow, so brave. They didn’t even spell the idiot politician’s name right. I doubt there will be some sort of backlash or loss of business—it’s TC after all.

Imagine a business essentially telling a group of people that they don’t even consider them human.

I’m sure that if they get backlash they will cry about persecution and “cancel culture”. Real damn sick of it.

      Only if you’re white.

Once you’re north of Saint John’s, you start seeing a lot of “fuck Biden” signs. My minority friends say racism is rampant up there, even in TC. I’m not surprised other forms of intolerance exist as well.

Even in the southern part of the state, you see those signs. Anywhere outside of urban sectors (and even in those there are places).

Luckily, my husband and I haven’t run into any of that up north (even in the UP). But we’re a mixed couple, so that may certainly be a contributor.

Hate has shown time and time again to be a losing business strategy

It’s depressing that this is how they have to try to reach people.
