we only got one side of the story, we don’ even know if there is another reason for refusing to eat the cake.
are the office mates healthy? Maybe they are diabetics.
Maybe they are on a diet?
Is it a hygiene problem, you know. would you eat cake from a person who neglects their hygiene?
is it an inopportune time? maybe the officemates are deep into their work and cannot afford to take a break.
there are many reason and sides to these stories.
