Do you think we could break these more risqué images into a dedicated community? There’s good content that I want to keep without the smut.
The about for the community is
A community dedicated to the discussion of anything surrounding anime, manga, manhwa, light novels, visual novels, and hentai.
And this isn’t out of line with other art that has been posted here before, this seems to me to fit the intention of the community well enough.
But it is a good point regarding content. I wrote that when I originally created the community, maybe for a point of difference compared to the other communities we be overly cautious with the NSFW tag?
Or maybe we spin up a sfwanime community. Where you are not allowed to post anything suggestive/ecchi and it’s gotta be purely sfw. Food for through regardless.
The only downside is that crossposting can be exhausting. Perhaps having a bot that mirrors non-NSFW content could be helpful, but it would be necessary to implement tags within this community, right?
This community should remain open for all types of anime images, excluding explicit hentai content. There is nothing wrong with embracing diverse content while respecting boundaries. Additionally, we should consider creating a twin SFW community.
Yeah, I saw that, I’m just not really interested in this kind of content but would like to keep the rest - but I guess I’m not that wedded to anything. Maybe someone will spin up a SFW alternative some time in the future.
