Amazing! How does one take care of a duck? I assume they don’t need to be walked… what do you feed them?

Heh they eat duck food :) We were feeding them “All Flock Crumbles” for a while, but my wife recently switched them to something that they like better - not sure what it is, but it’s some kind of similar pellet-ish food. They love meal worms for a treat, and will go absolutely bonkers for frozen peas.

Over all they’re pretty easy to take care of, just make sure they have plenty of food, water, and space. It’s the pond that’s the pain in the ass. We’re still getting the hang of keeping the biofilter happy and working.

Yeah she’s a beauty isn’t she? That’s Rocksteady, she’s a Blue Runner. Bebop is the dawn and white runner, and big ol’ Shredder is the Pekin.

Egg (F, front), Mr. Q (M, middle), and Mama (FM, rear).

Mama, when s/he arrived was laying beautiful, blue eggs. We had a break in the laying and I noticed a drake father. Her ovary had failed and s/he had become a proto-male.
