For real time opinions I never ever go to X. Mastodon starts to be a good replacement and for something really hot that’s also hot in Europe, my mastodon search engine (https://masto.kukei.eu/) sometimes does the job, although it’s still immature and often searches nothing due to the nature of mastodon.

3·1 month agoI do that kind of trips with Spring. No problem. It has surprisingly big trunk for groceries and whatnot. If kids are above 3yo it’s all good.
Obviously it’s not a highway monster but for every day trips we usually take this one.

I don’t think they taboo some topics but I’m sure the model has a bias specific to what people say in the internet. Which might not be correct according to people who challenge some views on historical facts.
Of course Chinese censorship is super obvious and made by design. American is rather a side effect of some cultural facts or beliefs.
What I wanted to say that all models are shit when it comes to fact checking or seeking truth. They are good for generating words that look like truth and in most cases are representing the overall consensus in that cultural area.
I asked about Tiananmen events the smallest deepseek model and at first it refused to talk about it (while thinking loud that it should not give me any details because it’s political) and then later when I tried to make it to compare these events to Solidarity events where former Polish government would use violence against the people, it would start talking about how sometimes the government has to use violence when the leadership thinks it’s required to bring peace or order.
Fair enough Mister Model made by autocratic country!
However. Compared to GPT and some others I tried it did count Rs in a word tomato. Which is zero. All others would tell me it has two R.
If you use the model it literally tells where it will not tell something to the user. Same as guardrails on any other LLM model on the market. Just different topics are censored.
I don’t have opinion on this because I’m from Europe and I stopped understanding American politics but just wanted to point out that 80s were 40 fucking years ago. 40.
7·2 months agoWent to my car at Lidl. When entering I hit my head against the roof. Bumped to the other way, door began closing, hit my other side of my head against the door, then roof again, again door and smashing into the interior in a sitting position. Door closed.
After made myself think again I thought about how my father would be disappointed over my grave that he raised my for so long and I killed myself in such a stupid way.

Cloudflare is in security business. They use all free users to generate traffic that comes to their network. They analyze that traffic and give ranks to user agents (IP plus some other factors).
Thanks to this they have superb WAF that is transparent for known „good user agents” like your mama who’s known for browsing some websites in their network. She’s showing a typical user pattern.
While your nerd friend who’s using a niche Linux browser will be considered low rank and presented with captcha way more often. Or simply blocked if he’s using a niche VPN on a known data center IP.
