smeg@feddit.ukto Android@lemdro.id•Samsung is about to find out if Ultra is enoughEnglish1·3 days agoI assume low sales are because they’re ludicrously expensive, which makes sense for early technology. Apple are generally slow to adopt new things, they like quite a lot of polish (and to come up with some marketing so that they can claim they invented it!)
smeg@feddit.ukto Android@lemdro.id•Samsung is about to find out if Ultra is enoughEnglish2·3 days agoPhones have been getting bigger over the years because people want to see more (whether for video, games, or just reading), the limit is that most people don’t want to lug a tablet around with them. A folding phone that provides a bigger screen and fits in your pocket doesn’t seem like a crazy concept to me, that’s why I’d quite like one (though I can’t justify the cost).

Isn’t the reason that you can have a big screen which you can fit in your pocket?

I waited in the queue, created a lenovo account, confirmed my email, “claimed” the game, logged into games planet with the lenovo account, tried to get the Steam key, was told to enter my email (again?), but apparently it now refuses to accept my email. I actually can’t be bothered to continue!

They got them at quite different points in their careers though..English3·5 days agoI remember reading that either he or McLaren said that with hindsight it was the worst thing for their season because it made them think the car was much better than it actually was
Well I can live without it so if I’m the only person who doesn’t want rid of it then don’t worry
Oh, I use it (I think just for [email protected]), I imagine the low engagement is because everyone who uses it knows it’s a bot and treats it as read-only.
Is it actually causing any problems? It’s pretty trivial to ignore/block it if you don’t want to see it. If it’s actually increasing our server bill or anything like that then it’s not worth keeping, but if it’s not causing any harm then why bother defederating?

And yes, it is an amusing irony that the most secure devices are made by Google.

Cheers!
