I assume low sales are because they’re ludicrously expensive, which makes sense for early technology. Apple are generally slow to adopt new things, they like quite a lot of polish (and to come up with some marketing so that they can claim they invented it!)

Phones have been getting bigger over the years because people want to see more (whether for video, games, or just reading), the limit is that most people don’t want to lug a tablet around with them. A folding phone that provides a bigger screen and fits in your pocket doesn’t seem like a crazy concept to me, that’s why I’d quite like one (though I can’t justify the cost).

I couldn’t even claim it. I waited in the queue, created a lenovo account, confirmed my email, “claimed” the game, logged into games planet with the lenovo account, tried to get the Steam key, was told to enter my email (again?), but apparently it now refuses to accept my email. I actually can’t be bothered to continue!

Oh, I use it (I think just for [email protected]), I imagine the low engagement is because everyone who uses it knows it’s a bot and treats it as read-only.

Is it actually causing any problems? It’s pretty trivial to ignore/block it if you don’t want to see it. If it’s actually increasing our server bill or anything like that then it’s not worth keeping, but if it’s not causing any harm then why bother defederating?

Have a read up on GrapheneOS, they seem like they take their shit very seriously and their product is pretty solid (though their communications are a bit… “opinionated”). And yes, it is an amusing irony that the most secure devices are made by Google.
