Not a supporter of the war but just noticed that western media is covering this with a sprinkling of their own propaganda. Just read telegraph’s piece on this. They seem to think that nato’s expansion is normal and just fine. And they also seem to call the presence of Nazi groups in Ukraine Russian propaganda.

There is clear propaganda war going on on both sides. Anti nato doesn’t neccesarily mean pro russia. A lot of western people don’t seem to be able to wrap their heads around this.

Kerala has been using FOSS for a long time now. It’s a good step. In Kerala computer literacy centres actually teach Linux so hopefully this increase Linux usage in education sector as well.

Used in small doses to generate text with some degree of precision is helpful. I do find it to be a good way to cut out boring email writing. Only tablet I ever bought was a nexus 7 back in the day when phones were smaller. I don’t think I’d buy a tablet ever again. For reading fiction I still prefer e ink stuff like kindle. For everyday phone is fine now. And well for everything else a laptop does it’s work. My tablet has been lying around for years without being used. The form factor doesn’t seem very conducive to me for anything. Also watching movies is simply easier on a laptop cuz I don’t have to think about holding up or balancing the screen.

There is no analogical reasoning between germ theory and psychiatry. Psychiatry chooses to individualize a problem in however coded manners at the expense of the social. I am honestly quite astounded by the response that transitioning is the only way to be trans nowadays. This echoes the overall codification of queer behaviour the world over where the normative western queer body language now dominated. If you don’t behave or are like them you are not queer.

Again depression is a modern conception which is a symptom of a society that has erased notions such as melancholia and mourning.

The point is that these new ideas pretend that they are all neutral and they have arrived at the truth. In the process the constitue their own subjects who are interpellated in these frames. The people who believe and fall for this new discourses are produced by these new technological and scientific advances. It isn’t a truth waiting to be grasped out there.

The point is that alternative routes of making meaning of these phenonemon have been erased and other alternative pathways are blocked by suggesting that this is it.
