I remember reading about the lsblk.sh some time ago and tried testing it on NetBSD. I ran into some errors, which I can’t remember right now. Will test it again and post the output here later.
They’re probably American. Slavery is legal there

Whether they have a car or not.English72·9 days agoLol, Adelaide has the widest roads. Wish they’d do this in Melbourne. For some reason, although most houses in Melbourne have driveways, everyone parks their multiple vehicles on the already narrow roads.
This would actually be good legislation for cyclists as it would mean less cars parked in the street.

pfr@lemmy.sdf.orgto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•I have finally gotten rid of WindowsEnglish1·19 days agoSee my other comment above. I’m quite comfortable using a terminal, but for the purposes of tweaking system files in their POSIX location. I don’t want temp files or symlinks or sandboxed/containerised packages. I want binaries, I wanna compile software from source. Immutable distros make this quite difficult. The file system is setup differently (on purpose of course).
I guess it’s less a criticism than it is a preference.

Oh, your welcome. It’s a great rabbit hole. I remember venturing down it for the first time some years ago. I’ve since been able to build arcan from source and get pipeworld working on void linux. It’s not daily drivable yet, (not for me at least) but it works, and it’s cool as fuck.
I just don’t really know how to use it…
