SE has stopped caring about its customers a long time ago. They never bothered to fix their old broken PC ports either like 13, 13-2, and the old 3, 5, and 6 games. FF16 is still exclusive to PS5, 7R Integrade was exclusive to EGS until June 2022, and they really went all-in on Metaverse/NFTs.

This is the devs’ responsibility, not different shops. I can easily play compatible crossplay games easily with my friends as long as the devs develop it from the ground up.

100%. This is a collective effort and since the market is mostly 20-40 yo demographic with disposable income, it’s up to them to do the right thing.

GOG user here too, they can transfer ownership of deceased’s games over to the next of kin if they have the proper legal docs and will. It’s one of the last DRM-free bastions of PC gaming.

Even then, deceased people’s accounts can go to their next of kin. GOG does this with provided legal documentations and will.
