An inflated initial price explains high depreciation. Just get a 1 or 2 year old model.
Likely due to middlemen making the EV expensive to get you to buy a high maintenance ICE instead.

People from rural center states only see people like themselves and become xenophobic. People from coastal and metropolitan areas see all kinds of people and embrace them all. This doesn’t explain everything but it’s a decent start.

“accelerating the global energy transition requires a sophisticated, long-term approach” - That blatant inconsistency and suggestion that renewables are an unsophisticated “blanket approach” makes it clear that CPPIB is pressured by the O&G lobby.
They’re pushing for a “long term approach” because they want people to buy gasoline until they retire themselves, while saying they’re more sophisticated than others.
