  • Mindfulness meditation has been a positive and calming experience for me. Sometimes with a discernible difference in thinking, after finishing.

    I prefer using headphones.

I use these freely shareable mindfulness resources, that are under a Creative Commons licence.

Generally coming back to two meditations from the list:

If needing some grounding, a body scan can help.

Fifteen minute body scan - Vidyamala Burch, Breathworks

If stable and grounded, the Mountain meditation is a nice exploration of impermanence.

    Mountain meditation - Padraig O’Morain

  • I guessed it was Innovation from the title.

The best card game available, IMHO.

    Best at 2 player.

I like the 3rd ed. art the best(the brown box shown at 2:20).

Available for free-online play at the DIY boardgame site yucata.de (Register a free account at top, then click on ‘Create Invitation’) (For the first few learning games, online-play can help greatly, when calculating each players featured-icons)

I very highly recommend trying out Innovation. Worth a go if you like any other card games or boardgames.

NB. The complimentary card-theming, and appropriate level of play-testing/balancing, is very evident when playing through.

  • About 2-3 cheap string-lights that run off USB battery packs (EDITed out this: run off the 2x AA-battery-packs). Mulitple light angles is better than a single light source. Cheery and festive. Get a multicolored string, if camping with kids or you are a fun camper.

Also OSMand mapping software, configured with offline maps of your camp area. Install the hillshades and height maps for extra detail. Enable and add an overlay-layer of Satellite data. Then scan your camp area and surrounds while online, so that it will cache the satellite map tiles needed when you are off-grid.
