Fellow Canadian here, this has completely been off my radar. A quick search brings for Bill C-5 brings up the removal of trade barriers and tax cuts.
Can you point me to where the copyright nonsense is in the bill?
Man… this hits a little to close to home.

Daughter3546@lemmy.worldto Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•Steam Deck Beta Client Update Lets You Remotely Install Demos From Phone Or Web7·4 months agoThis would be an awesome feature to have. However, it’ll be very hardware and software dependent. The device needs to wake up constantly to poll if there’s a new demo or game to download.
This is surprisingly a hard problem to solve due to underlying bugs in the embedded firmware and the OS.
This is FUD /s

I would not recommend LocalAI. There documentation is somewhat lacking and it’s an all in one utility with many moving parts. The parts also tend to break, quite often.

I am currently migrating away from my 6th gen i5 to a newer N100.
Speed wise, it was about the same as the coral, about 6-8ms on the i5.
I have a similar setup and it’s been a huge pain when I when I have to do the OS updates.
The Coral needs a dkms module, but the sources and Google’s own documentation for it are out of date. I would highly recommend using the iGPU for inference.

Do you know a good article or a study that I can read?
Unfortunately, that’s at the federal level. Private companies are beholden to the provincial employment laws. A good example is Ontario, which had paid sick days but was repealed in 2018.
I guess nostalgia really is one hell of a drug. I am in my 30s and I view the GBA and NDS as the best Nintendo consoles.
