Odd, everything seem normal I thought it show some weird name in display setting, but you can try 3rd party brightness control listed here
OK then, if you go to plasma displaysettings you see the name of your display so what does it show?

Maybe driver issue?, my laptop brightness also does not work on stable release distros but it’ll work on rolling release distros
I mostly neutral on KDE vs Gnome thing, but after I got into theming my computer more I started to hate how Gnome handle its theming capability (confusing, messy, if I fix one thing something else break) while on KDE it has menus dedicated to colors scheme and general looks and feel
ColdWaterto PC Gaming•Modding turf war erupts as 'notoriously controversial' dev puts out an Unofficial Oblivion Remastered Patch one week after the game came outEnglish5·4 days agoHis unofficial patch mod is a hard requirement for other mods on Skyrim, and his changes while mostly just bug fixes but also gameplay changes based on his view on how the game should be played, and you can’t just turn off the changes you don’t need, and it’ll be the same for OBE but I hope mod authors don’t includes his mod as a requirement after the Skyrim mess. PS: he’s also a massive cunt
