The moment Game Pass wouldn’t let me cheese the system and get it for like $1-2 a month, I quit bothering with it. I knew they were trying to get people hooked and raise prices. It was only like a year later and then even my friends canceled theirs.
I buy games heavily on sale, or sail the seas.
Luckily my gaming PC is more than good enough to ride out the next 5 years. knocks on wood. 5800X3D + 6800 XT.
For anyone else cross your fingers the GabeCube isn’t too expensive $$$.

2·14 days agoMe and some friends go to Lake Tahoe every couple of summers for a week or two, and going to Sand Harbor is the best day. Finding a boulder to lay on so that half your body is in the super cold water and the rest of you is in the sun is peak relaxation!

I remember reading a study awhile ago that was kind of shocking:
Most people when they make a mistake/s need someone/thing to show them why it was a poor decision and how it led to consequences.
Less people than that are able to learn from their mistakes on their own.
And the smallest group, people that just flat out never learn, even if everyone points it out to them.

2·28 days agoI’ve played this a decent amount over the past 1-2 years during their closed NDA alpha phases.
It can be really, really fun, but like all battle royals, there’s a lot of dropping in, getting shit on, and going again.
The actual gameplay is a ton of fun, though.

No charging: The battery lasts for up to years of average use. After the end of its life, send your ring back to us for recycling.
I’d hope they offer a discount on a new one if you send in your old.
