Communication is the #1 thing that’s kept my wife and I happy and together. I don’t think it’s “controlling” to let my wife know where I’m going, or for her to tell me where she is going, that’s just normal married couple stuff.

I wish we could get those in the US. We are sorely lacking in awesome little 4x4’s.

I don’t know, I installed Mint last year and it’s been great.

The only trans person I’ve ever known personally* was a FtM trans guy that I worked with who was mid-transition. He did talk once about how a lot of people forget about FtM trans people.

*I assume there are trans people I have met that I just didn’t know were trans. And now I’ve typed “trans” out so many times that it looks weird to me.

I’ve felt much of the same things. It’s depressing. The Internet used to be cool. Tech used to be cool.

Fortunately, I’ve been doing more things in the real world. I’ve been fixing up an old car. It’s fun to drive it even though it’s slow and noisy and hilariously unsafe. I’ve been practicing archery with my kid. We are both getting decent. I’ve been writing more. I have been raising chickens, I now have 14 lovely girls who give me and my neighbors free eggs, and one bigass hateful rooster that keeps them safe. Lastly I’ve been teaching myself drone photography. I’ve been building a meshtastic network on my area.

So the Internet used to be cool but… I’ve decided that I’m going to just have to be cool instead.

My other half tried some mushroom coffee. It was $20 for a package that would make six cups, and she ended up not liking it anyway. I didn’t try it myself because all coffee is gross.
