I love that book. Ive only read it twice, and decided to skip the uncomfortable part on the second read through. Overall its near the top of my Stephen King list.

I read the first one over my Christmas downtime. Moved on to the second one in the new year. I have a large collection of Stephen King, and Joe Hill books. Ive had a love of reading for a long time. These books have been like eating popcorn or chips. They feel like fanfiction of all my favourite games mashed together, but then had the quality increased about 10%. They arent bad. But they arent… Amazing. Like… I have bought 5 of them now, with the intention of supporting the author and finishing the series as I can. But I wouldnt say… Man you need to read this book. The Martian? Operation Hail Mary? Gotta read. Ready Player One? Yeah, that was solid. You should read.
Dungeon Crawler Carl? Its like a bathtub book. Or what I would consider a bathtub book if you weren’t interested in anything ‘spicy’ or vampires. So far solid 8/10

With their space lasers!
Depends where you live. I’m up in Canada and there are lots of products that are manufactured, sourced from, built or grown in the USA.
Lots of tv shows, online stores and even web hosts that. More about making the best choices when options are available.

I wonder if they still have the EDGE network up there. No 5g towers on the moon…
Came here to say the same thing. My kids love them into their teens. Proud Canadian who can have toys in our food, without fear of accidentally eating the toys.
‘Put the bunny back in the box’ The accent is like a late nite radio broadcast. It fades in and out with no real consistency. I love it.
Many young people grow into adults. Some of them keep their tech through multiple years. :P

I posted this on another Trump/fentanyl news announcement.
When you think back… WMD was what justified the war in Iraq. Now he says this drug is a WMD and is coming in to USA from Venezuela but we know it isnt, most reliable news says so. He has also said it is coming from Canada. Is this his push to justify a full scale attack on Canada?

Oooh, that’s huge. I would feel way better if the artist was no longer receiving royalties or payment, and the state or the marginalized group got the funds instead.
Absolutely, first thing we need is to stop the bleeding. It’s easier and cheaper for companies to harvest and sell raw product. Same as our LNG, coal, and any other natural resource.
Stop facilitating the pillaging of our land for quick easy profit. Once the government says ‘company, you have no access to the resource unless you process it within 200km of where you found it.’ then we will see a shift.
More jobs, better quality, improvements to infrastructure and medical etc.
What tax? I think too many focus on throwing money at a problem. For generations we had logs processed at local mills. The big shift was the pine beetle, there was heavy investment into pumping as much through the mill as fast as possible. They created super mills. They closed down smaller community based mills to ship logs to bigger centers. Now it costs too much to bring the logs from their closed down communities to their high cost super mills. So they dump that cost on another country who will process without following our safety, pay, or quality standards.
Go back to community managed forests, improve shipping and highways.
Agreed. Keep the logs in their community. Ship a finished product.
At 10? Only the ones who would take the tide pod challenge really. Everyone else that age and up knows better.
I love this style of game. I always have one on the go. Some times they scratch the itch, others they miss just a bit. I found that the blasphemous series more dark souls than Metroidvania. Biogun, chasm, bloodstained, any of the ori games, haiku, the mummy demastered, turnip boy commits tax evasion, dust an Elysian tale… I have more but that’s a solid chunk. I’d love to hear from others if they do or don’t consider these in the same family.
Do you consider Zelda64 a MetroidVania? If so then Darksiders has that action, similarly control, soul reaver 1 and 2, and blood omen 2.

It’s to protect the everyone on the road, including the person in the pink plastic car. Rules on the road are different than the rules on private property.

That’s a tough one. No idea how many cards they had signed before the termination. If it was close they should have awarded the remedial cert. $2000 does seem like the cost of doing business to keep CLAC as the bargaining agent. The fact that they’ve had multiple raids should not sit well with the current union.
I think every Canadian sees Quebec marching to the beat of their own drum. I’ve never seen them vote for any party but Bloc Québécois as long as I’ve been watching.
Insomnia was the first book from King that I read and had a real emotional connection to a story.
Even if you haven’t connected on other stories. That one was so good on a human level.
