I get “connection failed” errors when attempting to sign in on Android. I’ve tried two phones, each on Jeroba, Firefox, and Chrome.

I am able to sign in just fine on my desktop, both Linux and Windows, Firefox and Chrome.

I saw the same thing. It smelled like a DNS issue, and the messages were suggesting as much.

But I didn’t save the messages, nor stress too much. I figured it was the unprecedented load and normal growing pains. I turned off the phone and went to bed. It’s working now.

Sorry I can’t provide more info, but at least I can corroborate the issue a bit.

We had some dnssec issues when we moved to cloud flare, but that should be all cleared up now.

Yep, it seems fixed for me now too. I didnt note the exact errors but they were super generic. I think the Jeroba one was just “Network error.”

I’ve just signed out and signed back in with Jerboa with no issues.

When you’re trying to sign in on Jerboa, are you selecting Lemmy.ca as the instance in the top dialog box?

Is there an exact error message or code that you can grab for us?
