    The leaders of this occupation include people who espoused Islamophobic, Anti-Semitic and racist hate on social media, organizers of the notorious far-right yellow vest protests, and people spreading extreme conspiracy theories and calls for violence.

      On the contrary, the statement contains several paragraphs of argument clarifying that these do not represent the interests of Canadian unions, that their demands, the downfall of a democratically elected government and are rooted in ideological extremism. These are all perfectly legitimate as arguments.
