I can kinda get not needing a numpad, but what about []{};:, any numbers etc…?

There are multiple layers that can be accessed by pressing a modifier key. Like how you would press shift to type a symbol instead of a number, but for every key. And you can have multiple layers too.

But they aren’t labelled, not is there a modifier key that wouldn’t conflict with windows preset modifiers?

You can program the firmware however you want. Many people don’t even use QWERTY. You can design the layers however you want so that you can remember them without labels.

No need to have key labels if you already know the keys 😅.

But as explained in other comments, it’s all layers and chords. The space bar is actually 3 buttons. Left and right function as a space key if tapped, or layer 2 if held, so holding left or right space and q gives a 1. To get ! It’s the same key but with shift of course. The center space key is just layer 3. So holding that and “I” is up arrow, jkl are left down right. Y is page up, h is page down.

Honestly, the hardest part is the missing : and ’ key. Those are so deeply ingrained.

A bunch of old Cherry MX Clears that I recycled from a 60% keyboard that I had laying around. So much desoldering (including led) just to resolder them on again 😅
