      Absolutely. AI is a tool, it is as good or harmful as what people use it for. Many firms are trying to use it to extract monetary value and devalue existing labour (i.e. hiring editors to proofread Ai-generated junk instead of hiring writers).

    AI itself is cool and amazing! My worries are not with AI itself but with who uses it and for what purpose.

    They have the ability to solve a lot of the world’s issues. The reason why we haven’t solved them is because someone wants a cut while solving it, and many of these solutions are inconvenient to us.

    The lightning fast development of open models like Stable Diffusion even compared to proprietary counterparts shows that everyone CAN benefit from it.
